Grand Canyon University Center for Worship Arts
The Center for Worship Arts has been a collaborative achievement for Grand Canyon University that stems from a partnership between the College of Theology and the College of Fine Arts and Production. A blend of industry experts, instructors and seasoned worship ministers contribute to the learning experience in this integrative program, which launched in the fall of 2014.
The Center for Worship Arts offers multiple BA in Worship Arts degree programs. The Worship Arts experience at GCU includes dynamic courses in theology, music, media, worship experiences, events connected to the academic program and the Canyon Worship project. GCU has provided incredible facilities to cultivate artistry and collaboration within the program, including a state-of-the-art recording studio and songwriters’ lounge.

The new GCU recording studio was designed and built to provide students, staff and artists with every opportunity to find their purpose by creating and sharing their love for music and the Gospel. The space features two studios and several rehearsal rooms. Studio A includes a recording room, four isolation booths and a control room, in addition to a wealth of instruments and amplifiers. All spaces have double-wall construction, two layers of drywall and acoustic paneling to absorb acoustics and prevent sound leakage.
