Dual enrollment opportunities at Grand Canyon University can provide high school students with an affordable and efficient way to get a head start on earning their college degree.

As a dual enrollment student, you will receive the same quality instruction, accessible resources and academic rigor as our traditional students.

We strive to provide you with the academic preparation needed to smoothly transition into college, potentially allowing for early graduation and a quicker entry into your career.

Course Options

We have different options available so all students have the chance to take advantage of this dual enrollment opportunity. These options include:

  • At Your High School: Study at the college level without leaving your high school. Qualified high school teachers incorporate our curriculum into learning materials, which can enable you to receive high school and college credit at the same time (only available in Arizona).

  • Online: Earn college credits conveniently online. We offer a variety of seven-week online courses to high school students year-round.

  • On GCU’s Campus: Experience college life at GCU by taking on-campus courses during traditional semesters or in the summer. As you experience education at the college level, you can also learn more about the college experience and what to expect as a new Lope.

Transferability

GCU dual enrollment credits easily transfer into our degree programs. As an institutionally accredited university, we accept dual enrollment credits just as we accept transfer credits. You may take up to 32 credits (eight courses) at a reduced tuition rate. If you attend GCU, you may be eligible for freshman scholarships.
