Relationships are at the very heart of both teaching and learning. Understanding how to build those relationships and what factors can affect them is at the heart of this PCC meeting!

Join us at noon on Nov. 18 for a better understanding of social emotional learning and how it fosters positive attitudes toward oneself and others. Participants will develop an understanding of the physiology of the stress response, its relation to anxiety and its impact on learning. By being more aware of the effects of stress we can then better insert strategies to reduce anxiety, build relationships and promote learning. These same strategies can then help to create a safe environment where students and staff know they are valued and supported.
